Take a Moment Ministries
This ministry originated from a vision inspired by reading a classic book by Brother Lawrence, "The Practice of the Presence of God." I longed to cultivate a constant awareness of God's presence in my life. My desire was to deepen my relationship with Him as the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart through Scripture and as I dedicated time to God each morning. I realized that my spiritual life could not be limited to morning devotions, mealtime prayers, and nighttime petitions. I began engaging with God throughout my day, seeking His guidance through His Spirit in simple matters like choosing which groceries to buy, deciding which route to take, and locating lost items.
As I opened my heart to communicate more freely with Him, aligning myself with His pace and timing became a central priority in my life. By examining the life of Jesus Christ, He exemplified an intimate relationship with the Father in everything He did while on earth. We can do the same.
